Interview of London Film School Director Chris AUTY
Do you know the renowned London Film School ? Do you wonder about the integration of minorities in British cinema ? Do you want to know more about the current film industry ?
Thanks to our partnership with the British and Irish Screens Festival, we had the privilege to watch 5 short movies made by students from the London Film School. Their school director Chris Auty, who is also well known as a major film producer, granted us kindly an interview afterwards. He told us all about his career, his vision of the LFS school, but also the current stakes of the British Film Industry.
You will find out in this interview why he decided to come to this festival in particular and what his opinion is on multiculturalism in British movies. Moreover, if you're looking to enter the LFS like us, Chris Auty delivered strong pieces of advice to potential applicants to meet the admission criteria. Finally, Chris Auty points out British Film industry's specificity, and gives his opinion on its future.

The double discrimination of Dalit women
Even though the caste system is officially abolished in India, this imaginary testimony showcases the discriminations that Dalit women endure, as they are considered "untouchable" because of their social rank and gender.
